Those wishing to get married must contact any of the Parish Fathers at least 6 months prior to their marriage in order to begin the necessary paperwork. Both parties need to attend a Marriage Preparation Course.
After you have met the priest, book the mass for your marriage. Your marriage can be scheduled for any day (except special days of the Universal Church) Weekdays 4.30 p.m. Sunday 4.00 p.m. In case there are two or more marriages on the same day, they will be celebrated together at the same mass. Please avoid bursting of fire crackers in and around the church compound.
Printing of wedding booklets is strongly discouraged. Not only it is an unnecessary expense, but it is also a disservice to Liturgy as these booklets (containing sacred hymns and prayers) are often thrown away or left behind in the Church. You are encouraged to use the “Joyful Celebration” hymnal as far as possible as these are both available in the pews as well as contain hymns sung in most churches of the Archdiocese of Bombay and elsewhere in the country. Please check with the parish fathers regarding your choice of hymns and the liturgy well in time before your marriage.
